Coming from Paris and Lyon
- A6 motorway, then the A7 to Avignon
- Exit "Avignon sud"
- Direction Apt
- In Apt, direction Banon
From Paris you are better off taking the Avignon Sud Exit of the A7 rather than taking the exit at Orange

Flying to Provence
There are a number of airports in the area. The largest and one of the closest is Marseille International Airport. It is about 1.15 hours from Villa Emmanuelle driving time. You can find many rental car companies at the airport. Other airports in the area include:
- Nimes - About two hours away. Low Cost Ryanair from UK Stanstead and Luton
- Avignon - About 1.10 hours away
- Nice - About three hours away - Useful for direct flights from North UK and Midlands
- Lyon - About Three and a half hours away - Direct flights from Manchester
Coming by Train
The closest major TGV rail stations are located in Avignon and AIX en provence. Both are about an hour away drive by car. You can also arrive in Marseille if coming from Italy or Spain.
At each of these stations (or nearby) you will find a number of car hire companies. Having a car is very desirable in Banon though not absolutely essential.
Arriving By Bus
There is one bus that arrives everyday to Banon from Marseille and Aix en Provence. If you wish to take this bus please let us know so that we can send you the timetable and organise to meet you in the central plaza in Banon. It takes about two hours - though you do get to see many small villages along the way.

Gaby will tend to the garden and ensure any maintenance needs for the villa are promptly addressed. Catch up with Gaby who always loves to meet with people and have a chat about things going on. Try and convince him to let you try some of his home made Banon famous apéritif - you will be pleasently suprised. You may also want to put in an order for his sought after Black Truffles for your visit next year ... they are used by the leading restaurants in Paris!
Michele is available for any household needs including maid services. Michele will organise any domestic requirements you may have including reliable babysitting. Not to be missed is Michele cooking for you a fabulous home cooked traditional Provence meal. You need to organise this with her on arrival and she charges a very reasonable fee depending on your requirements. See if you can convince her to share some of her many sought after recipes.
